The domaine du Prieuré

J ust like the monks before him, Jean-Michel MAURICE has replanted the parcels of vineyard on the Hautes Côtes de Beaune that had been abandonned by his ancestors following the phylloxera blight at the end of the 19th century.

These parcels of land benefit from the same care and the same rigourous vinification as the prestigeous SAVIGNY LES BEAUNE vines. They offer an excellent value for money and the wines from the Domaine du Prieuré are accessible to each of our epicurian moments. Jean-Michel MAURICE is a man who lives in the present and the Domaine du Prieuré is absolutely contempory in numerous respects.

The wisdom and discretion of the past generations has enabled Burgundy to produce outstanding wines, but innovation, correctly channeled, can bring even more.  Today, the Domaine has set itself new rules in the search for a personalised expression of wines with a philosophy close to that of biological production.
